Plans for DIY (hime gyaru edition + update on the Paul's Boutique bag)

You read the title right, it's a long awaited blog by Sunny (by long awaited I mean by like two people).

Anyway, I got this pink peacoat/trench coat by Oasis on Ebay because for a while I've really been wanting one of those Ma*rs/Liz lisa hime gyaru esque pink peacoats.

So yeah, basically my plans are to get some white faux fur and sew it onto the cuffs of the sleeves and maybe the collar as trim, sew on some pink bows and lace near the fur as well, and replace the buttons with golden heart shaped buttons so that the coat kind of mimics those types of peacoats. Seeing as it's my birthday in a few days, I should have enough money to get all of the supplies ! I've also been trying to get better at sewing because ever since I started college we've been having textile lessons where we've practised things like hand sewing/stitching and applique. Hopefully, we'll be on sewing machines tomorrow ! (Also aiming to get a sewing machine at some point but those mfs are expensive...)

Also an update on the Pauls Boutique bag I bought on Vinted: I haven't even touched it yet TT If I'm being honest the thought of trying to somehow salvage the bag from it's extreme dry rotted state has just been really daunting and I haven't even had the money to buy the materials to do so e.g fabric glue, fabrics etc. So yeah unfortunately haven't gotten anywhere with that!

Anway, that's basically it for this DIY update ! Lmk if u have any tips for this sorta thing because I've never really done anything like it TT
