A silly little concept I had

Set in the Half-Life universe, starts with the G-man speaking.

"Ah, Mr. Pitchford. Recycling the same old gameplay loops again, I see. While that might be all good and fine for your own purposes, I am afraid that my employers have instructed me to employ you on something a little more... titillating, shall we say." A smirk almost flashes across Gman's face for a second before he continues.

"I've been advised that there is a particular development studio that requires an attention to detail that someone of your caliber would be exceptionally appropriate for. I've also been informed that the mass media platform known as Twitter is something that takes up... quite a bit of your... attention... so I fear that while you might prefer access to your cellular device, it must be confiscated for the sake of the greater good. I'm sure you'll be understanding."

The background Randy Pitchford was previously in shifts to a small apartment, and is cloaked in darkness as Randall is forced to stumble over boxes for a lightswitch. As it turns on, Randy's eyes widen in shock.

"Mr Pitchford! We were... expecting you. Please, allow us to show the Borderman the path to our problem." The vortigaunt shuffles quietly past garbage piles and empty pizza boxes, chinese food containers, and a white plastic jar. Pitchford follows behind, unsure what to make of his current predicament, and his host stops before a door and places one fleshy appendage on the knob before opening to reveal a room of bright colors.

"Our problem is in here, Mr. Borderman. We are sure that you will be much more competent at this than us." As the vortigaunt hits the button on the PC and it begins to load, a bright-pink logo comes up on the screen before disappearing to reveal a game development platform. The vortigaunt looks over to Pitchford and the situation is revealed.

"Please, sit down." He motions to the crusty chair in front of the desk, and Pitchford sits. The vortigaunt points to the screen.

"Are you familiar with the game 'Huniepop', Mr. Pitchford?"
