ive been doing a bunch of art analysis for my psyche art class over the past few weeks and in one of the chapters that we had to pick were etruscan art. and honestly ive never heard etruscan civilization before so it was a new subject for me and i chose to analyze apulu of veii. and doing the research it got me diving into the gods n goddesses of etruscans and i found out it wasnt that far off with the greek and roman counterparts and its super interesting to see read about them. also, fuck the romans. its such an insane thing to think abt how renaissance architectures were inspired by or even stole off of etruscan's architectures but due to the materials as well as the romans, there werent etruscan temples around the 15th and 16th century but it was managed to be recorded by a roman architect in his book from the late first century bce.
good god what is it with europe and their need for colonization dominance >:(
soz for the rant but its such an interesting read ive researched for this topic :P
