album chart (and music yap) :0

sup everyone hows it going

i was bored so i decided to post my spotify all time chart that i made the other day (it probably hasnt changed much since then anyway)

here it is yay

its not exactly representative of what i listen to, mostly because A LOT of these albums come from my vaporwave/ambient playlist that i use to sleep, so it has much more playtime compared to anything else i listen to during the day... 

because theyre a lot, instead of going over every album i thought id go through artists for every genre, even if they dont necessarily show up in the chart

here they are, in no particular order:

• ambient: brian eno, yoshimura hiroshi, various artists (too many)
• vaporwave: telepath, cmd094, 2814, esprit/george clanton
• jazz fusion: pat metheny, keith jarret, jaco pastorius, chick corea, wayne krantz

• shibuya kei: serani poji, capsule, coltemonikha, fureneshi (?)
• 90/00s alt: radiohead, coldplay, moby, kitty craft
• 90/00s jpop (?): roly poly rag bear, sugar plant, yes mama ok?, citrobal
• shoegaze/dreampop: cocteau twins, my bloody valentine, rumskib

there are also genres that are not as present here but but are still significant, or that i listen to mostly on youtube instead:

• classical: satie, ravel, debussy, bach, chopin
• city pop: casiopea, 1986 omega tribe, akimoto kaoru, onuki taeko
• electronic music: boards of canada, aphex twin, autechre, oneohtrix point never, naked flame

• videogame music: yume 2kki, animal crossing, wii/ds era games in general
• anime/visual novel soundtrack: chobits, welcome to the nhk, clannad, little busters, 
• frutiger aero mixes from youtube those are nice too
