Can a 17-18 y/o tell me “growing up ain’t crap” or something?

Every night i just lay in my bed horrified at the fact that im getting older I really really really don’t want to be 18 next year not saying 18 is like grandma or anything it’s just I’ll have nothing to justify how childish I am in my head😔

Not to mention my teenage years were all spent in my room with little to no social interaction with ppl let alone other teenagers im so is

i turned 18 about 2 months ago, and i think i feel very similarly to how you feel.

ive spent most of my youth, maybe even all of it, on the internet. its probably why i feel like ive never actually been meaningfully connected to anybody in real life, ever.

it probably doesnt go the same for everybody, but for me, turning 18 didnt mean i was suddenly an adult, it just meant that everybody sees me as one now.

i wish u the best in your future, and that u find what youre looking for.

Turned 18 recently, nothing changes other than people saying you’re 18. It blows so much literally everything is the same other than the fact people expect more from you

Im going to be 17 this month and I totally feel you I’m scared but I’m also excited to get out of this house soon!! Growing means getting more responsibility and I’m scared of that but I’m trying to focus on my goals
