hey yall!!! in this blog entry, im going to continue writing about my ocs lore!! even though i didnt manage to finish the first part and properly explain the worldbuilding, i still want to talk about my characters!! moreso because i personally think that talking about people is more interesting than places!! anyways

for now, i want to talk about my 2 main ocs in veridium, Mycelia and Anita!!

About anita

anita is a 16 year old girl who wishes to find to find out about her past and parents. she was abandoned by her parents without ever getting the chance to meet them, she never thought much about it, after all- she was taken in by a very loving family in the mushtropolis, they didnt have much, but it was enough for a simple and happy life. but as time passed, she went on to find out about her mysterious powers; being able to practice the ancient art of windmancing (the magic of controlling the wind and air) as well as using small amounts of fairy magic (which is a secret type of magic that can only be properly dominated by faeries and creatures alike)

her mother is the faerie queen of the secret faerie kingdom hidden deep inside the woods, and her father was a windmancer nomad, one of the last ones to ever exist. they fell in love without knowing each others true identity, but ended up having to go separate ways, her father passed away in a foreign land, and her mother had to abandon her outside of the faerie kingdom, for her young human blood would not allow her to properly adapt to the extreme magical conditions of the faerie land. after maturing and finally getting in touch with her powers, she decided to leave home on a journey to uncover her past and find out about her true identity- her family and friends were all supportive of her, but she still fears what her story has yet to unfold

• Anita is 16 years old
• she is associated with autumn
• her powers include: wind mancing (controlling gusts of air, summoning light breezes and tornadoes, blowing things away, etc), flying (she has wings but doesnt know how to summon them on command), and basic spellcasting 
• her love language is acts of service
• she may seem cold and disant first, but once you get her trust, shes a real sweetheart!
• she has a secret plushie collection
• she is a specialist at foraging!
• she hates sugary candies (lollipops, gumdrops, etc) but loves natural sweets (anything that involves fruits and not too much sugar)
• she is very cautious about everything and tends to think before acting, she always chooses the safer route and does her best to analyze the situation before doing anything (which doesnt always work, as she gets nervous easily and ends up messing things up accidentally T_T)
• she was inspired slightly by kusanagi nene from project sekai!

About Mycelia

Mycelia is also a 16 year old elf girl, she shares the same goal of Anita of finding out about her lost past and the elven kingdom, a once prosperous magical kingdom with a highly advanced civilization of sages that was lost to war. mycelias parents sent her 200 years into the future as a last resort to try and save their beloved daughter, what they didnt know is that their entire kingdom would be gone by then, leaving only ruins of what they once called home.

after being sent from the past to the present as a newborn, she was taken in by the village chief in a small remote town in monsgramima and grew up to be a sweet and carefree girl. though she still feels curious about her past and the lives of her biological family, she has too much going on in her life to worry about things that already happened, after all, she is always thinking ahead and waiting for the next day to be even better than the last with her positive atitude!

though all that changes once she meets Anita. Mycelia's father is not only the village chief, but also the owner of the village's inn, and once Anita visited Mycelia's town in her travels to study the faeirie kingdom, she immediately had an eye on her!! "wow!! she is so amazing!! setting off to travel at such a young age is no easy feat!!" is what she thought. after following creepily Anita around for a while, she finally asked to travel with her and uncover the secrets of the now erased elven kingdom. Anita (very reluctantly) agreed to travel with her, as long as she didnt bother her (which she did) but as time went by, the two of them grew super close to each other and even closer to their own past!

• Mycelia's father is a sheperd, and she admires him greatly for that
• she is associated with spring
• her powers include: greater spellcasting, elven magic, and mainly healing spells
• she gets bored easily and is always in search of new hobbies
• she knows how to do tarot readings, crochet, embroidery, and is an excellent baker
• she cant talk to animals, but somehow understands them really well
• SHE IS TRANSFEM!! elves are know to have an extremely androginous appearance and reproduce assexually trough alchemy, because of that, mycelia's parents ended up guessing her gender when first taking her in and raised her as a girl, and she happilly embraced that identity of hers
• she despises seafood, but loves any type of pies and tarts (both sweet and savory)
• she has a very positive energy and is popular among the villagers for being as gentle as can be, her favorite hobby is helping them with whatever they need!
• she made her own outfit

ps: for now its just a distant dream, but i wish to one day be able to make a visual novel following the story of these two gals!!
