September Haul and September Faves!

Hi guys! Here are a few things I got in September and things I used often during the month.

My birthday was last month, so some of these things I got as a gift. Okay, let’s go.

  1. Hirono Blind Box

hirono

Ever since sonny angels started getting popular a year or two ago, I became very interested in blind box figures. I knew I wanted one to have as decoration in my room. I knew I probably wouldn’t collect them because they take up a lot of space and are pretty expensive. The Hirono figures were the ones that caught my eye. I like the designs and aesthetic of the collections. The specific collection I got mine from was β€œThe Other One.” I was so happy when I pulled my figurine because it was one of the two I wanted.

  1. Skip Beat! Manga

manga

I know this is a CRAZY amount of manga. I am very grateful one of my family members gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card and I was able to buy manga for the first time. I have reread this series about 3 times: first through my high school library, then online websites, and now through the local library. Since I love the series so much, having read it 3 times, I decided I wanted to collect my own set. The series is still ongoing with 50 volumes so far, so I have a long long way to go.

  1. Pearl bracelet

pearl

My mom and I were last minute shopping for a wedding when we found this bracelet. It was 70% off (DEAL!) and thought it would look perfect with my dress for the wedding. I have been wearing it with a lot of my other outfits now. The metal hasn't tarnished yet, but the fake pearl is starting to peel lol. Still, I really like the style of it. I was thinking of doing a jewelry haul, or my most worn jewelry blog post, so let me know if you are interested.

  1. To Do List

to do

When I was younger I drew out on paper a to do list for every night that included things like brush teeth, clean room, pick outfit for tomorrow, etc. I taped it to my wall and cut out little check marks and x’s that I would tape to the paper if the task was finished or not. Surprisingly this was the time I was most organized in my life. Growing up I have never been able to keep my room clean for more than 2 days, and I still struggle with that today. So I remembered when I did this about ten years ago, and it was the first time in my life I had my room clean for 2 weeks straight. So I decided to buy a premade to-do list where I can add inserts. I only have these three things on here because they are what I struggle with the most. Some days I am too lazy to wash my face so I will only brush my teeth and go to bed. As I mentioned before, I would go to sleep with a messy room. Also, I tell myself I will find an outfit in the morning, but then I end up emptying out my whole dresser in the morning because I don’t know what to wear. So, If I can check these three things off before bed, it makes me feel accomplished, and I am more willing to do it.

  1. Bullet Journal

journal

I have been keeping a bullet journal since middle school, but I have been using a bullet journal as a planner for 2 years. I struggled to use premade planners because they never worked for me and I would stop using them. So I decided to make my own planner so I could customize it to my own needs. These images are just a few of the more blank pages, to not expose all my business. Since September was my first full month of this school year, I have been using it everyday to keep track of assignments. I would really like to make a blog post about how I set up my planner, maybe once the new year comes. Again let me know if you are interested!

I am really happy September is over because it is always such a busy month for me. I am hoping October allows me to slow down a bit, and get more down time for creative projects and personal interest. I really hope everyone has a great October as well!

Powering down,

HAHA YEAH. The fact I started reading it when I was younger than the main characters and now I'm older than both of them makes me so sad. Ima be a senior citizen when it finishes.
