i am engineer

last december, i graduated with my bachelor's in electrical engineering.

a few days ago, i passed my foundations in engineering exam.

i am now very comfortable in saying i am an engineer.

this doesn't mean much practically yet, as i am now pursuing my doctorate, but it is nice to know that i am qualified to get a job done should i have to. in my own capabilities, i am confident i will do well in this degree i am pursuing... but in terms of what the world around me has in store, i am not who will speak for it. so it is good to have a couple pieces of paper that allows me to jump to a different opportunity, should it all come down to that.

i am aiming to publish something soon. something really simple and esoteric, but it will be something nonetheless. at that point, i will post "i am researcher" and yell "yay", but for now i am still hard at work studying rocks.
