Pictures of the Louvre museum, Paris, France

Today I went to the Louvre Museum in Paris with my arts history class!

Despite being French and living near Paris, I've never been to this museum and I was a little ashamed by that... I was supposed to only see the Egyptian artworks for a project, but today was a strike day and the Egyptian department was on strike. Unfortunately my teacher organised the school trip before knowing the strike date, ergo instead he let us see whatever we wanted, but there will still be a project to make.

Anyway, here are some pics I took!! I only put my favourites ones because I have 50+ pics but I didn't have the patience to put them all. ~ because his ass created the UK's national anthem lol ~ Thanks to the strikes there wasn't a lot of people, so I took a good photo. ~ This is one of my favourite paintings. I was captivated by the work of shadows and lights. I aspire to paint like Girodet later... All his artworks are gorgeous. ~ The ceilings are so beautiful in the Louvre that I took several pictures of them, but this one is my favourite. ~ As a French this is a very important and significant painting for me. ~ This is where I'll put the remains of any British person I see /j ~ I'm so childish I laughed when I saw the hole on his buttock... and if the photo is blurry is because I didn't want my classmates to see me taking a pic of an ass.
