yapping about repo! the genetic opera

i've seen a bunch of people freaking out about how repo! the genetic opera was taken off of streaming (both music and video) and darren lyn bousman's new post teasing something to do with it. i assume it's a remaster, and if there's any movie that needs a remaster, it's rtgo. not only has the visual quality aged terribly, but the audio mixing is horrendous to the point that it ruins part of the film (compared to the soundtrack). as someone who's been a fan of repo since i was 13, i think a remaster would be the best thing to happen for the fandom (especially since it could bring in new fans) and seeing a better version of it, or maybe even a director's cut, would be my dream.
