Report Blog Entry
I haven't even really talked to anyone on here yet, just focused on making my profile look like 'me'. I missed this feeling of autonomy even though I have a Tumblr and have had some kind of Tumblr since I was 13. Tonight I felt like I was back in my teens changing my old Tumblr for the 100th time that week.
Shoutout to those whose collections I mooched from, I never got to figure out how to even use stamps and stuff until now ;w; (can you tell I'm not good at coding?)

hey man. def feel you, esp with the similarities between OG tumblr. i was on there from 2011-2015, so i saw its peak. the state of the platform today is sad, it used to be so fun. i went back this year to check it out and i was surprised at how they lock you into the dashboard at every turn. back when i was younger most of my time was spent hopping between different blogs thru direct links! not weird dashboard pop-ups

Yess dude I was also there for that! I'd spend hours making edits just to spruce up my blog, but now... It's become rather frustrating to use these days. I had to go and edit my blog the other day and it took me like 3 times just to get them to change my age on the damn thing. Not to mention the staff being lowkey malicious. I tried using it for my OCs making a sub blog for them but I've all but abandoned it, copy pasting the entries onto word docs. I don't really feel completely safe on there. I'll likely put a couple OC things up here at least since I think it's the perfect format and I like the culture of encouraging art and writing!

you should make ur own website! there's free options for neocities and nekoweb (i use nekoweb), it can be really simple. i love it. don't gotta worry about moderation policies, automatic bans, or finagle with a shitty UI. i started off as a total noob hand-coding everything, and now i've switched to an SSG and am currently learning js
nekoweb has a discord server which is full of super friendly and helpful folks

That's incredible! And you're so right, I have plans to make a neocities since I'm more familiar with it(tried in the past). Plus one of my friends was begging me to make one cause he wants to see what I come up with lol, he's got a neocities himself
