Busts of Antinous and Emperor Hadrian at The Prado museum and National Archaeological Museum C:

Last Saturday I finally got to see Antinous, at the Prado museum!!!! And a few busts of Emperor Hadrian, and many other lovely statues and busts as well, in the Prado Museum and the National Archaeological Museum of Spain!!!

It was such a beautiful and lovely day, I have never felt more connected with Antinous! Watching something you adore with all your heart in real life is one of the best experiences ever... They might tell you, ''You can see him in pictures!!'' but, it really isn't the same...This bust of Antinous was so different from the pictures... I have found so many indescribable emotions by just looking into his eyes for minutes that I didn't feel by looking at his photos... Antinous is truly magical and lovely... He is just so beautiful and lovely ^^ He is so expressive, in a way, you can really feel all the emotions and pain Hadrian wanted to represent in his eyes, so bittersweet...

I took a chance and decided that I obviously wouldn't leave the museum without at least one picture of Antinous, and, although it is forbidden to take pics in the Prado Museum (For some reason, I DON'T KNOW WHY DX; It's the only museum I have ever seen that it's forbidden to take pics...) And I managed to take quite a few photos of Antinous and Hadrian, and other statues without being caught!! Here are some pics C:>
