hi! I started working on a dress for prom. So far I have a sketch and I'm trying to make a pattern (which is pain in the ass to make from scratch).
I've made a mockup of the dress for now, but I didn't have enough material so it's short. Proper dress will be black and fabric I bought is more flowy. I'm planning on making some sort of tule petticoat to make the gown more puffy. I also would like to add corset back but I'll see if my skills let me lol.
I have a mannequin somewhere in basement, I'll try to find it because sticking pins in while wearing the dress is tiring :(
I'll post the process and finished dress if i won't fuck up

That dress looks awesome!
As someone who recently went to their 'prom' (we call it a ball where I'm from lol), this is a really unique idea for a dress! :3
