The sun is always out. There's no way to control it. It never goes under 80 degrees fahrenheit. It's illegal to sell long sleeved/legged clothes. There's no law about making them though. It rains every other day like it's on a timer. There's no artificial source of light here. There's no need to have it here, but that all changed. One day, the sun went out. It want way under 80 degrees fahrenheit. The normal rainĀ turned into a white powder that hurts if you hold it too long. Before we get too far, my name is Shiloh and I live with my parents on Seaside Way.
I was walking on the beach with my girlfriend, Sydney, when it all happened. It went pitch black like never before. I heard a grown man scream. I held onto Sydney's hand a little tighter when it happened. She started walking in another direction. I trust that she knows where she's going somehow. She knows how to get everywhere. I'm not like that. I get lost the second I go anywhere I don't go on a daily basis. I saw a light in the distance. It's a cop holding a tube emitting light. I thought "What is that?" Little did I know the thing is called a flashlight. It's a source of artificial light.
