being in a small fandom

For those who haven't clicked my profile (cause  my obsession's pretty obvious there) i'm a SFTH fan, and the fandom is pretty small. It's growing each day, and more people discover it, but it's still on the smaller side of fandoms at the moment. 

And I enjoy it greatly. It's like being in a little town. You know just about everyone, you can talk to your neighbors and ask them for sugar, and everyone knows their way around the place. Though, sometimes it kinda sucks too. Mostly because outside of that town, no one knows anything about it. And that's why the only irl friend I have that's into SFTH is someone who got into it because of me and is mostly a casual fan. Unlike me who's been thinking about these four British guys non stop for nearly eight months.

But, if it wasn't a small fandom, I'd probably never make a tumblr sideblog for it, post my thoughts, start to get over my fear of posting online, and likely never make this account. Mostly because small fandoms definitely feel more approachable, at least to me.

(also, the new episode of roll from the hip destroyed me btw, omg-)
