driving at night to cry

It can help greatly to drive at night when you are feeling overwhelmed or sad. You can turn on some music, sob in your car, scream as loud as you want, and no one cares or hears. It removes the fear of judgement and it helps me a lot. I did that earlier and I went from feeling like I wanted to die to feeling pretty decent.

I have a cute cat robe that I wore during the breakdown. It helped me feel safe. Get something like that if you don't have it.

A highway at night, the windows down, and losing yourself to the rhythm of the road is therapeutic. I just drove in one direction until I felt better. (Be cautious of your gas tank.)

I had a biscuit from one of my favorite restaurants afterwards. I knew when I bit into the biscuit that I did not in fact want to die, ever, because there are many more biscuits.
