History (banana phone 69)

First online learning exercise and I am crashing so bad

It's basically a case study for that ONE event (I cannot tell except it took place in either the 23rd-26th of August 1896), and you have to choose some sources and explain whatever evidence is in there.

So far I have had no issues but there is one problem..

How am I supposed to write a clear, short essay without sounding either blunt or pretentious? Yeah I get the organization part but the way it is written is bugging me off.

So if I write 2 sentences, it's "vague, with nothing to elaborate". If I write just 2 paragraphs (even with no big words), suddenly I feel like I just bragged about having an IQ of 167 and solving quantum mechanics while looking down on basic everyday people for not being "intellectual" enough.

(No wonder why my country has the lowest reading comprehension, not enough sweats)

But yeah I just think reality is far from that and my essay turned out alright
