I seriously need to stop loving older shows-

I remember watching mlp with my mom at 4, and I never really stopped liking it- but I'm currently in the fandom and while the show its old- HOW IS THIS NOT DEAD?? 

Next we have voltron-  I had taken a break from this fandom and BOOM. a hyperfix- istg man klance is still what i need.. but also THE FANDOMS GONE INTO DUST?? SOMEONE PLZ TELL ME WHY AND WHERE YALL WENT
