layouts tab, choose a layout you like, copy the code of the layout (Should be in a big box), go to ur profile, edit profile, paste in the "about me" section. You can still add to that section after you add a layout and can stack layouts too! like if you want that album thing on the featured page, you can have that and have a fun layout that edits your whole page
it works when I view ur profile :p ur probably just on the default thing when you press home. that won't have your layout. You have to press view profile on that thing under ur status or wherever it is to see what your profile looks like to others and to see your layout

I do copy-paste it and save it but it doesn't change anything on the profile .I am confused .
