This homeless man absolutely changed the way I view life

I am very privileged, I will not lie. Silver spoon in my mouth, 3 story house, 10 acres just for my backyard, cars and devices, etc and whatnot. I think it's safe to say I live a very lavish and rich life style and before my run in with this man I took it all for granted. For me, a 100 dollar bill held about as much worth to me as half a sheet of toilet paper. I'd treat the people around me as if they held no value simply because they were not as wealthy as me. But that all changed not a couple days ago.

I was walking down the street to hit up a coffee shop I frequent with my buddies to shoot the shit and enjoy my immense wealth. I was about to the door when I see this homeless man on a rather old phone (for my standards anyway) playing clash royale with a sign next to him that says "anything helps." In my head I scoff but without realizing I mutter loud enough for him to hear "Too broke to own a house but paid enough to play on a phone." That's when this guy grabs me by my arm and I swear I was this close to punching him until I saw his phone in his other hand. He was showing me his clash friend code and he asked me to add him.

Now any other day I might've called this guy a vagrent loser and moved on with my day but something told me that I needed to friend this man, so I did. Instantly he invites me to a friendly battle and since my friends weren't in the shop yet, I reluctantly obliged.

10 games.

This guy 3 crowned me 10 GAMES IN A ROW and by the looks of it he wasn't even trying! After the games he grabs my hands and tells me "this is why we clash." Then he gets up and walks away. He didn't ask for money, he didn't ask for an apology, he simply just told me "this is why we clash."

After that day, I donated to the homeless and other unfortunate individuals for hours. I could see the money draining from my bank account but I just didn't care this man CHANGED me. And I swear for as long as I live I'll continue to do this. There's no way that man would ever be able to see this but if by some crazy chance he ever does...
