white feminism doesn't and will never work because it makes everything about this simple “men vs. women” battle, like that’s the only thing going on. But being a woman isn’t just about gender. It’s about how gender connects with race, class, culture, language, sexuality, disability, all these different layers that build up and affect how people move through the world. Ignoring those layers means ignoring real struggles.

layered oppressions don’t just affect women,they affect everyone. Even men, whether they want to admit it or not. Patriarchy and racism mess with all of us, just in different ways. But women, especially women of color, carry the heaviest weight.

So yeah...white feminism doesn’t work because it refuses to see the whole picture. And if it’s not seeing the whole picture, then it’s not justice.
