The Summer Hikaru Died????

Now...I already read the manga a few yrs ago when it first got translated into english, and even then I was devastated with the ending. BUT THE SEASON 1 ENDING OF THE ANIME ENDING?????

I AM DEVASTATED!!!! It just hits different somehow, but omfgg I did not expect it to turn out like that. I am in tears, and I am not prepared for season 2 knowing what happens next. This is devastating. I am devastated. Holy shit.
