My new animation project!

Hello there wonderful readers or well maybe it is just the void which is honestly fine too! I just feel like actually using this site in some kind of manner and not let it sit forever as I  have been doing for months which is why I am writing this blog entry.

This blog entry will be entailing my newest animation project I am working on with my dearest friend who we shall call Elsie in this context going forward when I mention her.  If you do not want to read about an animation project that probably  is not of interest to you and will not do anything to value your life in any means please feel free to go check out all the other wonderful blog writers on this site! I am sure you will eventually find something more of value to you than my blog entry! I honestly do not mind as I am aware other people have different interests and perhaps do not want to read about this stuff.  This blog can be sent to the void which is completely fine to me haha and of course for readers leaving please have a lovely morning/day/afternoon/evening/night! :3

Anyway I have put this blog entry in the category ''Goals, Plans,Hopes'' because well  I have certain goals I hope to eventually reach for this project that may or may not be reached. I'm hoping that they will be reached of course though but let me just start actually writing about the project.

This animation project will be based off a  short story collection of mine called The Adventures of Lady Lockshire and Miss Darcey-Rabbit.   A brief description of this short story collection in its simplest terms is that it is about a rabbit named Miss Darcey-Rabbit and a duck named Lady Lockshire that follows them going  on silly adventures together  very loosely  set in a Victorian era while trying to pick up the pieces that were broken during their youth together and learning kindness , love and care is not weak. It is what makes you stronger.

The animation project will be based more specifically on one of the short stories I wrote about these two called A Miss Darcey-Rabbit and Lady Lockshire Adventure: An Egg-cellent canoe adventure.  I honestly cannot wait for this story to exist in the form of animation.

The plan for the animation is that it will be fully hand made and animated traditionally. I honestly do not care that traditional hand animation is a dead industry. I feel that this way of animating is  the only way this story should be told and made.  It would feel wrong if it was made any other way.

I am aware though of course that paper comes from trees and there is no way around that problem which is the only consequence that makes me maybe think that if I cannot do it the way I want it then perhaps it is better if I do not at all.

My current  list of goals are listed here for reference about how long it would hopefully take to make a prototype if I were to go through with the project despite the consequence that may be experienced. ( All goal due months are not quite accurate as it really can only be found out once we actually start the production of this project )  :

- Finish transferring the story into a script by  December and finding someone preferably in real life that is willing to do backgrounds as my friend and I are not quite proficient in them.

-  Story boarding ( I do not have to do character creation as it has already been decided thankfully how the characters will look like but characters will be checked over just for last iterations )  by February?

( Voice actors will also be found in any time available honestly. )

- Rough animation by April? May for the latest????? Or longer?????

The rest of the goals will be decided once rough animation is closer in sight to being finished as it will also be a major decision making to see if finishing this project is worth while or just not feasible at all.  )

I sincerely hope my friend Elsie and I will be able to complete this project eventually and if anyone is curious about the short story here is the link to the Google doc so you too can read the original short story to see if you would be interested in this project really coming to life.

My story.
