Witchcraft

I've been contemplating studying witchcraft for awhile now, i got into it some years back but i got scared off from it, nowadays im curious to try again but i kinda have no clue where to start. I can't get books rn so id be restricted to websites and other internet sources, thats also hard though because it feels like all i hear about with studying and researching this stuff is getting the right information, which duhh, but like, at the same time how am i supposed to know exactly whats good info and whats not? How do i know if one source is telling the truth or another is lying, or if one source has modern misinterpretations of how to do something, it feels like all i hear is about how you need to be careful and check if its a good source but then how do i even know if that source is good if im just starting out?? 

Idk maybe im overthinking this, I'm sure I'll start studying it soon anyway and just figure it out, i did the same with hellenic polythesim so whatevs
