Should I redo my stick and poke?

So me and my friend Kitt decided to do stick and pokes together, but mine faded and washed out immediately which was Lowkey sad

He was pretty ugly and was thinking Abt redoing him (he used to be a smiley face but was thinking about doing a bug instead bc I like those better)

its just a bit more difficult to do, so any advice on how to do it would be really nice ToT
