deforestation is something we should worry about.
forests grant us air to breathe. Their beauty can take it away, too.
no material item, no amount of jewels, nothing could ever compare to a forest.
cutting down trees, logging... They aren't "just" trees.
They're animals homes.
what you're doing isn't "harmless" just because YOU can't see the damage.
you're hurting people, animals, the EARTH.
look at what you're doing. are you so oblivious to not realize that you're killing ecosystems?
animals? people? the very ground you walk on?
or are you being ignorant on purpose? are you just "turning a blind eye" because it isn't hurting you yet?
when you can't breathe, when your starving, when the sky isn't blue anymore..
will you realize then? will you feel bad then? will you REGRET then?
deforestation is something we should worry about.

nice poem!! i especially loved the line "forests grant us air to breathe. Their beauty can take it away, too."! i think sometimes a lot of people want to discuss topics such as these in a "subtle" way, but i think it's nice when a poem allows itself to be blatant and in-your-face about these topics. again, nice poem :>!

i dnt like it when ppl r subtle abt it bc , imo , personally , it takes away from the severity && seriousness of the situation . we shld explain how serious these topics r in a way tht rly highlights tht , othrwise it can b downplayed or ovrsimplified so it can b trivialized .

thats completely fair! while i do sometimes get the value in being subtle about serious topics (subtly can be a good way of introducing someone to something serious, to someone who would immediately turn away at the first glance of something serious.. which could potentially challenge them), i also especially agree with your take. youre right!! i feel being blatant is just way more refreshing, more radical, and less palatable. and i feel in recent times, we really need that kind of discussion on serious topics. not the ones that are subtle enough to make you comfortable.
