Academic Weapon or Academic Victim?

There’s three things you’d be blessed to have if you want to survive in academia or career: Drive, Ambition, and Talent.

Have Ambition and Drive? Even if you’re talentless, you’d get somewhere. 

Talent and Drive? Even if you have no direction, you’ll get somewhere.

Ambition and Talent? Well aren’t you a terrifying beast?

But i think the worse combo is having all of the above and then come crumbling down when you realize the future might not be all that. A quarter life crisis, if you will. What would you do?
