January 1917: The Great War has been raging on the Western Front for over two years, and the tide is turning in favor of the German Empire. The Russians are crumbling, and despite repeated efforts, the British Empire and the French Republic cannot make any significant breakthroughs. Germany holds the line. However, a force is coming that threatens to turn the war in the Entente's favor. The General Staff know they need to act fast.
Stormtroopers are the greatest asset to the Imperial German Army. Forged in combat, their speed, ingenuity, and revolutionary tactics enable them to undertake assaults and raids impossible to the regular infantry. The Princes of the Trenches come in a diverse group. Assault troopers, pioneers, combat medics, machine gunners, flamethrowers, and snipers work together with the probability that they can break the gridlock between the lines. Rumors of supernatural phenomena return from the front. Angels, dead men, and demon soldiers spread throughout the trench networks. The General Staff, seeking to gain any advantage wherever possible, also explore the paranormal in hopes of a breakthrough.

Now, follow Joseph Engel, Peter Kuhn, Hermann Schafer, and a motely band of stormtroopers as they try to survive the bitter combat of 1917 and 1918 in Kriegshunde: A supernatural saga of brotherhood under fire. Kriegshunde is my personal passion project that I've been developing for three years now. Being concocted during my first year out from active duty, this trilogy explores not only how low mankind can bring itself, but also how people endure horror and hardship, forming the strongest of bonds in the process. The end goal is a trilogy of graphic novels spanning from January 1917 to June 1918, following three main characters and a small supporting cast of rugged but deeply human characters. Currently, the project is at a crossroads regarding one of the key characters who impacts the whole story. On top of that, the project is sidelined due to university and full-time employment.
