Characters and Relationships

So, this is probably gonna be really short and idk if anyone will reply, BUT. I love writing and drawing and hope to have my own animated show one day, anyway. A lot of times when I fixate on two characters I've created I always end up putting them in romantic relationships. Now obviously I know there isn't a problem with this, however, I find it fascinating that I always fall into this pattern. Most of the relationships aren't canon to my actual universe so it's easy for me to seperate them. But even still it sometimes makes me view my characters in a different way, especially when I imagine those specific two having an interaction with each other. I'm not really a person who is even into love or romance that much, I rarely even have crushes. But this somehow always happens and in the back of my mind it makes me feel like I'm turning my characters into completely different people, even though I'm just exploring with them. Anyways thats the end of my Ted talk for now :)
