BROKENCYDE AND DOT DOT CURVE EXPERIENCE!!!!

IT WAS SO FUCKING FUN!!!!! Normally Im as crustpunk as it gets. I dont dress scene, I dont listen to much modern scene music. I only really know the history of the culture, and listen to metalcore and crunkcore from the y2k scene era. This night my inner y2k scene kid came out, a

I got there about an hour late, so I missed most of Bino Bih's (the local they got out) set.

It started with From This Day Forward, who I didnt really know much about. I had heard some of their songs but didnt listen to much of it. It was interesting, and something new. I like the mix of emotional metalcore and hyperpop they had going on. It was fun, and something I had heard before but not heard done by many, and not heard done that well. It was definitely an amazing set. The vocalist complimented my vest.

Next set after that was Dot Dot Curve. Spanky comes on stage IMMEDIATELY singing Rocket Ship To The Moon. It was so fucking fun!!!! He played a bunch more shit that was fun. I sang my heart out to Like A Pony. Eventually he brought the crowd on stage. I cant remember which one specifically he brought everyone on stage for (I was incredibly tired, I woke up at 3am that day and had a really bad sleep pattern) but I think it was Freakin Freak. He ended the set off with Im The Sex. It was so fucking fun.

THEN BROKENCYDE CAME ON WITH BREE BREE!!! IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!! IMMEDIATELY THE CROWD WENT FUCKIN CRAZY!!! I WAS LOOSING MY FUCKING MIND IN FRONT ROW GOING CRAZY SCREAMING MY LITTLE HEART OUT!!!! Then they went on to playing a bunch of newer songs Im not too familiar with (I mostly listened to their pre-2010 era music). One newer song they played that I DID know was DTF with Ayesha Erotica. That one was fun. They then played all their old songs from the BC13 EP and the Im Not A Fan But The Kids Like It album. I lost my mind to Scene girl, Sex Toys, and Tipsy. I also screamed my little heart out to 40 oz and Freaxxx. It was so fucking fun. They played a few more songs, then fake ended the set before playing a few more songs and I lost my mind when Get Crunk came on. They fake ended again after those 3 songs, then came back playing their ACTUAL last song, ending the night with Teach Me How To Scream. It was amazing. I almost lost my voice from screaming.

All in all, the show was a 10/10. I hope to catch any of these bands next time they hit Tampa or St Pete. Much love from Tampa's Crustiest.
