hesitation and procrastination kills

throughout my years of highschool, I've found that the most damaging thing that I've done to myself is letting myself hesitate, letting myself procrastinate. alot of the things I've missed was because I let myself miss it. I let myself hesitate, procrastinate, overthink about the next thing I should do. when really, the solution was to JUST do it. because anytime I was overthinking it was something related to like, how do I do this right? how should I start? but the truth is, you just have to dive in. because regardless if you overthink, you're bound to make mistakes anyway. the difference is the time you have on your hands.

I couldve been doing a lot of things by now, probably. have more things. even in hobbies I procrastinated- where would I be if I didnt?

but that's where the present comes in. it will be a slow progress, everything will be a slow progress full of obstacles and mistakes. but its better to make mistakes earlier so you can avoid them in the future. dont be afraid of challenges- theyre gonna help you build up your strengths. dont be anxious about what could possibly be lying in the dark- just enter the dark so you actually know what its gonna be like. who knows, maybe you'll find a great, unexpected opportunity in there.

like they say, you miss all the shots you don't take.

facts. procrastination is the most dangerous thing it's common and easy to fall into the infinite cycle things off. even when you procrastinate you pile up more problems on top of each other making it more difficult for your future self. this was a great piece.

yes!! I forgot to mention that but the piling up part makes things feel like youre even more stuck and hopeless.. and I got sick of that so I just started before I struggled further. and thank you for reading by the way :3
