I tried and failed to channel the spirit of Kimiko Glenn

okay RED ALERT. so it's public knowledge that i'm a deplorable heathen [theater kid], so naturally I auditioned for my schools production of the little mermaid right ? the thing is though . . . I SUCK at auditions. 

I needed a short monologue, and a song, which isn't too bad, but the monologue needed to be comedic, so like the dum dum stupid head I am, I picked Cher's debate monologue from Clueless, because it was all I could think of and I only had three days to prep. 

Honestly I think I kind of killed it, but two of the judges [?] were my age and clearly had no idea what the hell I was talking about. [you could say that tHEY were clueless . . . haaaahahahahaaaaahahahaa ha] 

then . . . the SONG. oh lord, the song. I decided, for some reason, to do 'when he sees me' from the waitress. 

yea.

so since I'm the human embodiment of the phrase 'nervous wreck,' it didn't go exactly how I'd hoped [shocker]. 

my voice was so shaky you could be forgiven for thinking I was VIBRATING, and my mouth was SO DRY THAT I CHOKED IN THE CHORUS. 

and you know how everyones always like,

'you gotta move around !! you gotta act and use the stage ho !!' 

but i don't know hOW to properly, so I just kind of paced around waggling my arms like I was having a nERVOUS BREAKDOWN. 

anyways yeah it wasn't ideal.

I also joined like way too many extra curriculars I think ?? I'm in debate, theater, cheerleading [what], and soccer [also what]. 
I do cheer because my sister joined and wanted a buddy [also the pompoms are fucking amazing], and I joined soccer because my friend came up to me this morning and basically said:

'you're joining our dorms soccer team dumbfuck go to the field at 9pm tonight'

 and I was just like yeah okay I guess I am doing that. so glad I myself made this choice by myself. 

so far it's me - 1 , asthma - 0, but I fear that may change come later tonight so I'd happily take your thoughts and prayers.
