Hello people of all generations! I just read a blog speaking about the fact the the younger Gen Z community has been flooding SpaceHey and now, i'v realized that indeed, we do take a big part of this website, or any other social platform to a concerning level...
i sure do love the internet, but i understand that older audiences that have experienced the original website MySpace and has came here to experience it again with other people of their age are disappointed to find this place with young people. there is also the aspect of a lot of these kids are targeted by creeps that takes advantage in this situation.
i'm 17 years old, i recently left all of my other social medias since i started getting addicted and this has became a site i sometimes go to to share my art, ideas, thought or anything without it having a big impact or producing too much dopamine, i also use this site for this nostalgia i never had to experience and that i wished so much to live. unfortunately, me like many other teenagers my age or younger, do realize that our generation is killing us through our phones. we are addicted, have poor vision, attention span, audition all because or those small objects in our pockets that ruins our lives. SpaceHey is the website that we feel like it could get us closer to this early part of the internet we should have stayed in, and i'm sorry that now we are invading a place that older audiences feel concerned or uncomfortable in.
i love the internet but i hate what it has become, i hate that we can't be comfortable on it, that it has became so destructive. But i love that independent websites still exists, that SpaceHey exists, and that some people still post about what they like instead of what the others like to grow a community.
well that was my interpretation of the subject, i don't know what you might think about it

Honetly i don't have any problem with minors here, but some of them are TOO young and share TOO many info, i'm a blog reading enjoyer, and some blogs that people post here share too much personal/private info and they're too young, i don't think it's a good idea to give that many freedom to people that aren't aware of the risks in social media, even here on spacehey
yes this is also a big problem on this platform like in many others.

Yeah, that's kinda the problem in general social media, and i don't think it's social media fault, it's mostly because parents don't care what are they doing or aren't aware of the risks here, take in consideration that Spacehey is an Indie social media and a lot of weirdos/creeps manage to stablish here sharing things that are too much even for +18 people, the problem has been solved parcially but the probability is still there
