Creepypasta: old or new?

Do you remember this one specific era during the 2010's when the creepypasta fandom was flooded with those slenderverse artworks and fanfictions? Well, recently I've been reflecting on those times, comparing the recent creepypasta fandom with the one from years ago, seeing how much it matured and changed, a question came to my mind. Which phase did you like more? Because I personally miss those slenderverse fanfictions. For some reason they just feel like home, remind me of those times when I would leave my window open for the night wishing that ticci toby would take me and make me slenderman's proxy or drawing the proxy symbol on my wrist and proudly showing it to everyone around as if they understood... What's your opinion?
