A quiet knocking at your door

You open the door as you would open a message

Nothing of worth here

Though you sense someone now inside

A voice calls out from behind,

"You should have never rejected me at the park"

Everything now a blur, the world turns black

Dragging you by your feet, it takes you to a special resting place

In the lake where all who opposed have went

Before you're forgotten, the voice makes a sharp noise

"Sink, melt in the lava as you melted my heart"

The world spins and you make a loud splash

No more gasps, no more hope, you sink further in despair

Never should have ever opened the door, now that you think about it, never should have ever rejected their confession

Found dead at twenty-three
