Love

Hi, this is my first blog ever and semi-personal, but I'd like to share my thoughts on love (I'm 19 and demi-romantic, btw).

Love is a silly thing; we yearn for it and then meet that special person. Spending time with them and planning a life with them, but then one day they're just another face in the hall. Someone who once made my heart pound with excitement, then, after, pounded with anxiety. As you get older, you realize your own faults and improve, and you see that person again, and it's like looking at them in a new light, no longer the romantic love it started with, and neither the anxiety it ended with, but something else I yet can't describe. I may have recovered from my first heartbreak, but I still have a long way to go before I understand everything.
