RIOT FEST BLOG!!!!!!!!!!

     Greetings and salutations dear friends of space hey! I sure hope all is well for you. I'm sorta outing myself as a Chicago gal but, alas, internet safety is a thing of the past. Last weekend I was lucky enough to attend day two of riot fest with the lovely Ms. Liv Liv of this very spacehey.com! I tried to get as many pix of most of the bands I saw + other fun things but we must always live in the moment...

Enough yammering, lets get to the juicy stuff!

We met some friendly wizards on the venture to band number one!

The first band we get to see was Militarie Gun! They were pretty epic, we were in the pit the whole time so unfortunately no pictures were taken....   

This is the band I was waiting for all summer!!!!!!! And GOSH was the set good, but oh so short. I managed to get right up to the barricade :0)

Set number three! I wasn't able to stay for super long but it was pretty good from what I could hear. 

Livvy needed a sit-down :3

I WAS SUPER FANNING SO HARD DURING THIS SET OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!! Probably the best set I saw honestly, also the crowd was so much fun!! Kudos to the guy in the banana suit he was SWEATING! Also pardon my greasy ahh bangs it was humid as a bitch.

Gwar was very much standard to gwar. Thank THE LORD I'm not stained red...

Livvy and our friend we bumped into went onto one of the sketchy carnival rides. You'll NEVER catch me on one of those, especially the ones that go upside down...

John Stamos made out of butter. Duh.

Livvy needed another ground break! This time feat. her poncho.

THE BEACH BOYS WERE SO FUCKING GOOD ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY!!!!! I hit some random guys yart in exchange for a horse sticker and me and this random drunk lady started scream singing to each other and they played ALL the best songs omg. When I say was I was getting turnt you best believe I was getting TURNT!

This is the buzzcocks! Their set was VERY good, and the pit was amazing. I don't really have any close up pictures because I didn't want to mess up my camera :0(

Last band of the night! They were also really flipping good but unfortunately the set was just about a billion years long and I wanted overpriced blooming onion...

This photo was taken in the official riot fest wedding chapel! I got this really really really drunk lady to take it and all her friends started screaming KISS so of course we did :3 Girls kissing is a sacred part of the local scene by me anyways, why not bring it to the big leagues! You just have to be there...

That's about it! Riot fest is always a blast, but this year has been my fav so far. I hope to see some of y'all there next year...
