haii!! just looking to expand my music because although i do adore my current music, it can get a little repetitive. to give you something to base your recommendations off of, i'll list some of my fav artists: adrianne lenker, big thief, jeff buckley, nick drake, elliot smith, radiohead, lamp, carissas wierd, her's, smashing pumpkins, and the marias

have you heard of sun kil moon/red house painters? mark kozelek is a terrible person, but i think you'd vibe with his music pretty heavy (they're both his projects if that wasn't clear). his stuff has gotten me through a lot

If you havent, check out Phil Elverum! His project [as the microphones] The Glow Pt 2 blends acoustic guitar and distorted sounds with gut-wrenching songwriting. [As Mount Eerie] A Crow Looked at Me is an album mourning his wife who had passed away, and gets me emotional everytime I hear it.
OHHHH MY GODDD HOW COULD I FORGET, i love LOVEEEEE the microphones i'll def check it out
