How come my voice sounds deeper after I touhc my adams apple?

Zooo I mean like holding on the two sides that protude? I was touching it cuz I like things that have random bumps (it's a texture thing i dunno 😭) and uh our voice was deeper after ..? Am still not sure I did hear an "adams apple" is actually just the voice box pruduing but I don't really have anyone to ask other then ai ✨
