Charlie Kirk died in a world that he wanted and died by the exact thing he sought to prioritize over the thousands and millions of people and communities that were and still are being killed and hurt by the bigotry and violence he insighted and spread. It shouldn't have to be said but Charlie Kirk was a white supremacist fascist who actively harmed marginalized people.
His fascist and bigoted rhetoric as well as other alt-right grifters have caused a large ripple effect of violence towards people, especially marginalized people like queer, trans black, and disabled people as well as women and people of color. Charlie has also actively advocated for the gun violence that has killed thousands and that he became a victim of. His assassination was not because he was "a martyr for free speech" as some people like to call him. He died because someone had a gun and decided to shoot, Utah is an open carry state. Guns harm hundreds of people indiscriminately and have more rights than the living, breathing, people they kill.
Seeing people post hundreds of half-hearted posts about being against political violence. When you say you are against all political violence then you must be against the genocide and active war crimes committed against Palestinian people, Sudanese people, and Congolese people. You must be against the systemic discrimination and violence against people of color and black people. You must be aware and speak out against the institutional corruption baked into the institution of police force. To be against all political violence then you must fight against the rising legislature and hostility towards trans people and erasure of queer people and queer rights. You must actively fight for reproductive rights as well as rights for all women. You have to fight against ICE and speak out against them when they tear apart families and send innocent people to concentration camps. To be truly against political violence you have to denounce the ableism that is still prevalent in medical spaces and in laws.
To be truly against all political violence then you must actively work against and denounce hatred, genocide, and bigotry and say it with your whole chest. If you find yourself cherry picking which types of political violence, you're against and can't say shit with your chest than you aren't actually against political violence. You're a hypocrite. Even I am aware that I am not entirely against political violence because I support revolutionary action.
With that being said, I do not feel any remote sympathy for Charlie Kirk, and I do not mourn his death. Nobody is obligated to mourn for anyone. I also do not celebrate his death because he still is a victim of gun violence.
I will repeat this for the back.
NOBODY SHOULD FEEL OBLIGATED TO MOURN FOR THE DEATH OF SOMEONE WHO USED THEIR PLATFORM TO SPREAD MISINFORMATION, FASCIST RHETORIC, INSITGATE POLITICAL VIOLENCE AGAINST MARGINALISED PEOPLE, AND ADVOCATED FOR THE VIOLENCE PERPETRATED BY WEAPONS THAT KILL HUNDREDS EVERYDAY.
The reaction to his death also shows me more about how political violence is seen very differently depending on who the victim is, and it also shows me how little anyone genuinely cares about victims of violence.
If the victim is a red hat wearing zealot, then the country should be in mourning as the flag is at half-mast, and all should be forced to cry over a dead fascist. Meanwhile, when the victim is a marginalized person or advocated for human rights, then it is ok to celebrate and make fun of their death. What makes it worse is that it's already frequent as is but now it's only going to get worse, as everything gets put through more censorship and surveillance. Personally, I hate respectability politics, and my disdain is confirmed now that I see more people use it justify more political violence. Seeing Charlie and the griftsquad's fan club doxxing people who use the amendment of free speech to talk about how they aren't obligated to mourn his death gets pretty fucking troubling.
What gets more troubling is how victims of violence are treated and used as pawns rather than people. When Charlie Kirk's wife made a statement about his death and the other members of the griftsquad came forward to talk about it; they talk about continuing his legacy of bigotry like a mission, rather than just continuing to use hate speech as a means to make a profit. It reflects something I'm genuinely concerned about now, and that would be how normalized it is to cherry pick which victims get to have dignity in death, and which victims get discriminated and reduced to a headline. In the case of Charlie Kirk's death, it is clear to see who most often gets dignity when they are victims of the violence they encourage.
In conclusion, to close out this long and angry ramble, I have no sympathy or mourning for dead fascists and I hope that in his death he experiences the same harm and bigotry he caused and encouraged in any after life that exists multiplied by ten to the power of 19. I don't even believe in an afterlife so I can only hope his grave gets pissed and shit on by birds.
TLDR: I don't mourn for fascists and nobody is obligated to mourn or sympathy for fascists either. I don't celebrate Charlie Kirk's death and He also deserve none of my sympathy or mourning.

i don't think he was a fascist, and I also think nobody is obligated to mourn but cheering, making fun of him, and expressing your happiness over his death is wrong imo. he was debating people, expressing his opinions, using his right to speak up about his thoughts yk? i think nobody deserves to be killed bc of debating/using freedom of speech etc.

Icl he made shit comments but still he has no right to be killed for his views that he expressed and its fair for some ppl to think it's stupid to mourn him but still he was regarded as a quite a big figure for some people and it's just a lil respect
