Is anyone else kind of worried about the fast production of AI? It literally seems like it came out a year ago, and now everyone I know is using it. I am in my second year of university, and the number of people I have seen cheating (and breaking university policies) is outrageous, and they don't reap the consequences of it. I know it may sound like I'm a rule-stickler, but I am actually concerned because my university has 28 thousand students, and I presume around 65-75 percent of them use AI for their work or for understanding. Not only does it defeat the purpose of education, but it also it is also so unethical in terms of the environment and production!

ai itself doesn't concern me, itz a passing fad that nobody but tech bros like. what does concern me is itz impact on the environment (as you've shown here) these dumb machines are using up gallons of water and for what!?! it can't even do math!!

it scares me a lot. :( there are people that experience drought just for living near a bloody AI data center that nobody asked for. i think about it so often

Super worried. AI removes the need to think. Critical thought is dying, education is useless, and art is soulless... Needs to be laws limiting the use of AI, or even access to AI. Does not help that new tech wants to shove new AI features down our throats!
