Photos of my Dorm Room! [Kodak EasyShare CX6445]

Hello! Here are some photos of my dorm I took on an old digital camera. I tried to figure out what year this was manufactured, and all I could find was a Reddit title suggesting it was manufactured in 2004? So this camera might actually be older than me! Either way, I love the style of photo this puppy outputs- everything feels so homey and from a different world. The viewfinder makes it way more fun to use as well!

I love love LOVE my postcard wall. It's really grown from last year! I've not been to all of these places- but i just love the artwork and colors. The thing hanging next to the t-shirt is a onesie my cat wore after getting spayed! She used to be so tiny... :')

This is my shelf, where most of my hobbies live. It's a bit messy, and my cable management LOOKS bad, but I swear it's actually organized. 

This photo is of our dorms common area. I live with 2 roommates, and we each have our own bedroom, so it's basically a tiny apartment! This is our living room, which is mostly used for anime if I'm honest. I finally managed to get a working DVD player [only took 8 duds...], so I've been watching some programs on that lately. I kinda wanna post about my latest find, so I guess be on the lookout for that. Now, I'll address the 'pumpkin' in the room...

This is Gourdon. Gourdon Ramsey. He's a pumpkin I found at Goodwill with no price tag- I ended up getting him for 1.05- the lowest price possible to give. He's a pumpkin from somewhere in the 1980's. The reviews on his presence are mixed. Some find him oddly endearing- cute, even- while others have a visceral reaction to his plump smile. Personally I can see both sides to this. He is oddly charming, but I did initially get him because I thought he was just the perfect amount of funny and unnerving...

You can see in the previous photo that there's actually a portrait of him taped to the wall. I made that with colored pencil as an offering to his likeness. Honestly, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if he was haunted in some way... For the record, though, I love him.

I love living in this dorm. It's genuinely probably one of the best in the country, ESPECIALLY for the price. I got super lucky with my roommates freshmen year, and we decided to live together again this year! So not only do I get to live near home with my own bedroom on a campus I love, I also get to share the space with two awesome friends! :D

I actually have more photos that I took, however, I'm currently unsure about sharing them. Maybe if this gets some attention, I'll do a part 2. For now, though, I'll be signing off! Let me know if this type of post is fun to see! ^^
