it gets so annoying 2 me how like. majority of peoples hobbies dont expand beyond staring at their phone and keeping snapchat streaks and Its dumb as fuck. Go Doooooooo Something with your life man you eat instant ramen and scroll on tiktok all day but its aΒ mystery why you cant regulate your emotions or do anything without getting distracted and are depressed all the time
and in this state of the world (and by the world i mean america and any countries that fall into the same capitalist hierarchy) u cant rly be blamed for living liek that but u gotta do ur best!!!! to do stuff with ur life!!!! go outside and go make some shit or smth. literally just play animal crossing or color in colorbooks or something instead of just sitting there dormant like a dying bug bc its gonna kill u inside And out
it devastates me that theres so much potential in so many ppl that is squandered for one reason or another. go make stuff!!!!!!!!! go live!!!!!!! go love and experience the world outside of ur phone!!!!! im so tired of trying to hold a conversation w someone and they literally bring nothing to the table because theyve spent the past 16 years staring at a phone or some equivalent. u wonder why its so easy for misinformation to spread but nobody actually tries to study or learn shit or get smarter at all. we have a whole cultural knowledge of "brainrot" bc phones have gotten so bad to the point where we just dont train our brains anymore to retain information or knowledge. bro go do stuff!!! Learn Shit. U gotta try. people have these big dreams of being a music artist or a doctor or some shit but ur not gonna get anywhere closer to that by sending guys pics of ur mf shoulder on snapchatΒ
like why is it so crazy to people that i have hobbies and shit i do w my life. and yea i fall into the rabbit hole of laying in bed all day doing nothing but eventually you have to pull urself out of it!!!!!Β

I feel so strongly about this post. It's too often that I'm speaking with someone who is genuinely surprised by the fact that I have so many hobbies and interests. I understand getting stuck in a slump from time to time. I've definitely been there, but it gets to a point! When you allow yourself to spend every day lying in bed with your eyes glued to your phone, you're actively contributing to your own mental decline. It can feel impossible at times, but getting up and going on a walk, doing something crafty, reading something physical, or spending time learning something benefits your overall health exponentially! I find it so disheartening when I can't find even a single thing to relate to someone on because they simply don't do anything 3

i totally agree with this!!! i think the reason why im so happy is because i go on walks and hang out at parks. just taking a break from the endless scroll that is social media can improve you mental health exponentially. just going to a park and drawing in a sketch book, or listening to calm music on a walk can bring me so much joy!!!

( _ . _ ) u feel so much better when ur actually active in ur own life and doing stuff thatll produce actual longterm sustainable dopamine instead of the momentary spike u get from scrolling thru social media...u have to live ur own life!!!!!!! walks and going outside and walking to the library is liek my favorite thing ever
