Found second-hand clothes

I have a question: how do you find so many stylish clothes in second grade ?

I would love to find some as stylish as some of them. (╯︵╰,)
If you have any suggestions for me ಥ_ಥ

Theres a lot of different kinds of second hand stores.

There's thrifts, which mostly subsist on donated goods and are less picky about what they take in. These places are the cheapest to shop at, but wildly vary in quality. I'd always recommend shopping local, expecially with thrift, because I think that most of the best clothes donated to Goodwill get put on their online store rather than being left out for customers to find. However, there's still trendy stuff to be found in places like Goodwill - just the other day my roommate snatched up some GORGEOUS platform boots for like 10 bucks. You've just really gotta sift through the shelves and racks.

There's consignments, which are based on goods that sellers and stores split profits on. Because people are selling rather than donating, things on consignment are usually higher quality and may have more stylish clothes, but also come with a higher price tag relative to thrift stores.

Then there's dedicated clothes resale stores that are far more picky about what they take in. The main one that comes to my mind is Platos Closet, which is a chain that sells very stylish second hand clothes. The entire store is trendy, and it's a hit with anyone looking to be sustainable and up to date with fashion. This is probably where you'd want to look, but be warned, these places are probably more expensive and often carry smaller sizes overall. I'm a larger woman and struggle to find anything that fits me most of the time.

There are also flea markets and vintage shops, but usually those don't carry many clothes. They can be worth a shot, though! Garage sales are also worth stopping by.

If you're looking for specific things, there are online second hand sellers on Facebook Marketplace, Goodwill online and Thread Up, but again, usually these are marked up and you can't try things on before you buy them. I've heard that sometimes there are places online where people will sell clothes straight from their closet, but I'm unsure of where these transactions take place.

These are all based on my experiences in Florida, USA, so I'm unsure if this advice could pan out exactly for someone in another country. I wish you the best of luck regardless!
