My life with Schizophrenia

**WARNING** This may trigger some bloggers, so please take caution.

Some people have asked me what the M.I.P. stands for in DJ M.I.P.  Well it stands for Mentally Interrupted Person.  This is because I am suffering from Schizophrenia.

This is a living hell for me, as I fight this every day.  But these days, I have lesser of the symptoms as I have the right medication, which has been a nightmare for me.  The worst thing is that I was not diagnosed until 2017!  That is right, when i was 41!  I was left with the wrong diagnosis since I was 18... the question is why the misdiagnosis at that time?

The original diagnosis was depression, which I found out later was wrong... then they diagnosed me with BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), which i thought WTF???  I was also diagnosed with PTSD, which was bought on by a suicide in the family (I wont go on with that story).

I have made attempts to kill myself, but none of them were successful.  The will to live exceeds dying, so for those people that are thinking about suicide, or are under distress, you may consider talking to a person who is a friend, you GP/MD, or family members who care about you.

Now back to the main reason of this blog...
The illness has been a demon in my life since 1996, I lost friendships, relationships, and ultimately a marriage.  But with the marriage it hit the rocks for 6 months before it was over.

So if you think you have symptoms of ANY mental illness, or don't know about your mental health, talk to your health care professional.  I do not, and will not give professional health advice to anyone, as I do not know CRAP about health related stuff!
