09/24/2025: Obligatory Intro Post

I almost forgot that it was my birthday and I got jumpscared by my own fucking calendar.

Anyways, as you've probably read in my profile, I am an artist. I've been drawing for more than a decade now- considering how I started when I was a wee lad.

I also like to torment fictional people I made up as a hobby. I'm open to yapping about said fictional people and tormenting them together.

I'm also known as a "Devourer of Colonies" by some, because I keep eating ants.  I do not enjoy it. They just keep getting into my food or drink every time I leave it on the counter.

I used to read a lot of books when I was a kid- but, I became illiterate for some mysterious reason. Could be burnout? 

Besides that, you may or may not be wondering why my blog is so girly pop right when I:

1. Am a grown ass man. 

2. Have an aesthetic that's leaning more into grunge-y weirdcore horror with lots and lots of reds. Peep my site.

And this I say unto you- I thought the contrast with my actual aesthetic would be really funny. Plus, I enjoy preserving my joyous whimsy by prancing and frolicking around like a little homosexual.

What else... I roleplay on Discord.com! That's also one thing. Though, my writing skills are incredibly rusty right now. (Haven't done it in a while- I should write drabbles more. Maybe I could cross-post my drabbles in here and Wordpress. Although, there will be no guarantees that it's good!)

For this blog, I'm debating on making it some sort of public journal/ thoughts dump/ place to show you my doodles and doodads. That and a way to encourage me to get out of a writing slump by writing like...what's it called... stream of consciousness writing. 

(I mean. Evidently I'm writing with my stream of consciousness right now. The entire thing reads like a shitpost thus far.)

Maybe I could talk about my aforementioned tormented fictional people here too. I'll try to link to their toyhouse profile when I do so you lot know what the hell I'm talking about- to a degree, that is. 

Don't know how active I'll be either due to the nature of Spacehey having users do their own thing/ not really having an algorithm- which has its pros and cons.

Oh yes, I tend to do digital art nowadays. I still doodle with your old n' reliable pencil and paper, but digital art is way easier. You could fix your mistakes with it without leaving an imprint on the page/ have eraser bits scattered everywhere, less art supplies to lug around, color correction- the works. 

I mean, traditional art has its pros like the textile? texture? tactile! feel of it all, having the end product physically within your grasp, etc. but...yeah- for the sake of convenience, I've been doing digital art on my iPad more often, so you're going to have a higher chance of seeing digital art than traditional from me.

I play video games too. I like to commit vehicular manslaughter in them, as well as shooting people and making bad decisions that I normally wouldn't do in real life.

I tend to play roleplaying/ story driven games, or adventure games. In MMOs and such (E.g. Sky: COTL, Neverwinter and Once Human) I tend to be a lone wolf... which defeats the purpose of it but, unless I have my friends with me during the session, I'd keep to myself. 

I also tend to get distracted and detour into doing all the side quests before completing the main quest if that gives you any insight as to what kind of person I am.

I am more of a coffee than a tea person, but I will not say no to tea. I like spring jasmine tea the most because it tastes like watered down air freshener. For coffee, I like iced latte. I tend not to go for sugary drinks because I will pass away if I take one sip from it. Pastries are great, though. Macarons are probably one of my top choices. Please feed me them. 

Just- make sure there's no ants on it. Please. I beg of you.

As for what I've been up to recently- I've been trying to get commissions on Vgen, and I'm making an adoptable! I'm currently in the process of it- might show it here sometime via a bulletin. We'll see.
