scream advice for beginner?

hi i recently just started to interest myself in how to scream but don't have the money to rent a vocal coach or anything. i looked up tutorials on youtube and tiktok already but i always ends up with a "it depends" with the advices people give.

i was wondering if anyone already had some kind of experience and could talk about how they did it or what media they used to get to there. let me know!! (btw i never had any kind of vocal training and don't know how to sing either but i think i can hold a note pretty good)

from what i know already i want more of a fry scream to start. i'm starting to understand how it works in the throat but that's it. i'm taking it slow also since it's just for a hobby and tutos always tell to not push too much on your voice so i guess it's good.

In singing it's called doing gutturals, they are fun to do but it does shorten your lifespan as a singer (see rody walker and george pettit).

The key to doing it is to use your diaphragm to push the vocals out, try rattling your throat and you are halfway there, there are many different ways to do gutturals in different ranges so look into that as well!

Good luck!
