a couple months back, I learned that the last 90s-style mcdonalds in my area was getting torn down, so a friend and I made our way over with my polaroid camera for one last visit. I love how these turned out and wish I would have taken more. this place was surreal.

How could they tear that down??? I remember being in a McDonalds like that some time in the 00s when I was a kid... they all look so boring now. RIP. You captured it well, though. The polaroid gives it the feeling of a distant memory, which I suppose is fitting.
it's definitely a shame. a lot of restaurants definitely don't feel very inviting anymore from an aesthetic standpoint, especially with fast food places. I'm glad I got to experience this one while it was here. it was always a treat. thanks for the comment!

NP! Hard agree about fast food places. The most inviting restaurants are the independent ones these days, and those are disappearing. There's a tea house not too far from where I live, and it's full of antiques and the waitresses wear victorian maid's aprons... and I don't think too many people come there. I dread the day it too closes down. Let's enjoy these places while they last.
