The Company of Wolves - fantasy movie log III

I found this movie incredibly dull. I actually didn't end up finishing it. the only reason I didn't give it one star is because it has some really cool practical affects and visuals. I love this movies depiction of a werewolf turning- either they literally peel off their skin and their bare, bloody muscles and flesh slowly morph into a wolf, or the wolf comes straight out of their mouth. really cool disturbing visuals there. I also think it was really amusing that the wolves were actually Belgian shepherds (because obviously they wouldn't have been able to get actual wolves for the movie).  

I saw some other people recommending this one but I personally do not. there's just really nothing going for it. its loosely inspired by Little Red Riding Hood but not in a unique way. a slow, basic movie to me personally.
