don't watch incarnation (2025)

it was so bad. such a waste of my money!! i'll write a review abt it

i think it had quite poor storytelling and like the way they shot some of the scenes makes it a little difficult to follow the plot. !! SPOILERS AHEAD !!

poor storytelling:

it was all over the place so i think u need to like kinda write down what's happening to know what the story is in chronological order. also, there was just a lot of things that happened without an explanation! 

here's some questions i have abt the plot

1. what exactly is the loop?? why do maria (thuy) and talia keep repeating the story? (they said smth abt how if u don' t rmr the past u will keep repeating??? i think?? BUT WHY??)

2. wtf is the plot bruh?

like guys here's everything in chronological order (which is a bit hard to derive) (btw the movie isn't in order)

a vietnamese woman named thuy moves to south korea. she doesn't bring her mom (mom's name is chao) along coz her mom's a Hon shaman. seems like thuy doesn't wanna be involved in that stuff. thuy gets married, she has a kid (daughter named jin). idk why but she started changing? ok this next part is a theory on why thuy started changing her behaviour (btw this part abt her changing the way she acts isn't shown in the movie it's just like narrated a bit). theory: thuy has a friend named tran in korea. i think tran told chao where thuy lives? or tran brought chao to korea? and chao wants to pass down her Hon shaman knowledge to jin/make jin a Hon shaman. ok theory over. 

i think because of that hteory, thuy starts acting different because now chao is in korea so she has access to jin, which makes thuy more paranoid. her husband thinks shes cheating on him so he starts beating her n there's SA. thuy gathers her strenght and retaliates by placing a curse on her husband and killing him. that's vicitm number 1. 

thuy works as a courier for a mailing company. guys i'll continue the review later
